Description
Buttermere Reflections Lake District Photograph
Buttermere Reflections Lake District Photograph – ‘the lake by the dairy pastures’ is 1.24 miles long, 620 yards wide and 75 feet deep. It surrounded by the stunning Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks. Both firm favourites of locals and tourists. The lake Buttermere has a lower inclined walk meandering around the waters edge allowing for a nice pleasant walking day if that’s what you’re needing. It is always on the ‘to-do’ list of walkers and visitors to the area.
Buttermere Village is a small hamlet situated between the lakes Buttermere and Crummock Water.
We welcome you to our Lake District based Gallery in Windermere. The stunning Windermere village grew around the railway station, about a mile and a half from the lake. The village originally called Birthwaite until the railway company decided to call the station after the lake. Over the years, the village has become merged with the older lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere, though the two have quite separate center’s. We have many cafes and Independent shops here.
We post out daily throughout the UK using RoyalMail and Parcelforce.
